High pT hadron spectra in high-energy heavy-ion collisions
We calculate the hadron spectra in high-energy pp, pA and AA collisions within a pQCD parton model. Analyses of experimental data show that the modification of the spectra in pA and AA as compared to that in pp collisions is consistent with multiple parton scattering scenario and is dictated by the transition from absorptive soft interaction at low pT to incoherent hard parton scattering at hig...
متن کاملskew-spectra and skew energy of various products of graphs
given a graph $g$, let $g^sigma$ be an oriented graph of $g$ with the orientation $sigma$ and skew-adjacency matrix $s(g^sigma)$. then the spectrum of $s(g^sigma)$ consisting of all the eigenvalues of $s(g^sigma)$ is called the skew-spectrum of $g^sigma$, denoted by $sp(g^sigma)$. the skew energy of the oriented graph $g^sigma$, denoted by $mathcal{e}_s(g^sigma)$, is defined as the sum of the n...
متن کاملCritical Tsallis exponent in heavy ion reaction
The numerical solution of the nonlocal kinetic equation allows to simulate heavy ion reactions around Fermi energy. The expansion velocity and density profile show specific radial dependence which can be described with a Tsallis exponent of q = 5/3. This might be considered as an indication of a phase transition.
متن کاملCharacterization of High-energy Heavy-ion Implanted
BB-65 MeV ion implantation into InP compound semiconductor crystals with 5 MeV nitrogen ions has been investigated. The subsequent characterization was undertaken by a variety of techniques such as nuclear resonant reaction analysis, channeling Rutherford backscattering spectrometry, x-ray rocking curve measurement, and cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy. These techniques have cle...
متن کاملErratum: Particle multiplicity dependence of high-energy photon production in a heavy-ion reaction
The production of high-energy photons in an intermediate energy heavy-ion reaction (65 MeV/nucleon Ar + Nb) is studied by characterizing the events, which produce the photons, by the forward and backward, light and heavy, charged particle production. While the absolute yield of high energy photons increases with increasing charged particle multiplicity, the spectral shape is found to be almost ...
